Steelhead

  • November-April

  • Full Day (6-7 Hours) $450- 2 people, $550 for 3 people

  • Half day trips are available seasonally (Contact for details)

One of the most elusive and sought after fish in freshwater, known for their unique colors and acrobatic fights. Our steelhead season starts around Mid October and carries on through the middle of April. Winter is a special time to target these fish as they fall into their winter holding spots and there is far less people targeting them. Chasing these fish with snow covered banks and minimal boat traffic is an experience you won't forget.

Our primary method for steelhead fishing is float fishing or bobber fishing. If done properly it is the most effective and for many the most exciting way to target them.

  • Method: Float Fishing, Casting Crankbaits

Salmon season is a special time of year. Whether jigging in August or float fishing the river with fresh skein, fishing King Salmon is an experience you won't forget anytime soon. We spend our salmon season on some of the most reknown and scenic rivers the state has to offer. The Pierre Marquette and the Big Manistee. Kings are one of the most powerful and testing fish we have to offer here in the Great Lakes fishery, if you have never targeted them before it won't take long to understand why. Salmon offer pure speed and power making hooking into one quite the event and a rush of excitement.

Salmon fishing starts off jigging the river mouths and harbors in August. An extremely exciting way to target them and it offers the opportunity at some incredible fish that have freshly moved in from Lake Michigan. Towards the end of August we start finding Kings in the river and primarily direct our focus to river fishing in September. We start our day off casting crankbaits looking for the irritated fish that are ready to go, as this slows down we pick up the bobber rods and start floating skein. Small rivers and big fish makes for a special day.

Flatheads

  • May-August

  • $450 up to 3 People

These river monsters are one of the most overlooked and under appreciated fish in Michigan.  We target them primarily at night during the late spring and summer with live bait, some baits small and some half the length of your arm. The power these fish possess is shocking and unmatched, keeping them out of the timber makes for an epic battle and incredible experience.  Relax in the boat on a quiet summer night and wait for the show to begin.

Pike

  • October-March 15, May-August

  • $450 up to 2 People

One of the fastest and most viscous fish in freshwater, the king of ambush. When it comes time to feed they do a great job reminding you of just that. My personal favorite way to target them is with a fly rod but conventional trips are available as well. There is few things quite as exciting as watching one of these fish appear and inhale a bait, only to disappear in a flash. Available throughout most of the most of the year however my favorite time is in the fall and late winter before the season closes March 15- April 30th. Come feed these angry critters for a day and watch some viscous eats you won't be able to unsee.
